Sometimes I feel like a broken record. I am always telling patients that chiropractic is so much more than a method for reducing lower back pain. I remind patients that the body is intelligent by design, that the Nervous System controls and regulates every cell, tissue and organ in the body. As such chiropractic can help patients live a healthier life and should be used as a healthy lifestyle strategy. The list of symptoms and conditions we have had success with is as diverse as helping children with ear infections to reducing blood pressure naturally.
However, this month in the office we are discussing traditional Lower Back Pain. Did you know that 85% of all people will experience Back Pain at some point in their lives? How about that Lower back pain is the second most common reason people miss work. I used to suffer lower back pain myself. In fact that is one of the reasons I got into chiropractic. It was ruining my life. I couldn't sit comfortably or be active to the level I desired. I know first hand how debilitating it can be. What I learned from my chiropractor is that chiropractic can not only help me reduce or eliminate my pain, combined with some other concepts I could get ahead of this condition and prevent recurring episodes.
I now share what I learned and have been helping people for the last 17 years to get ahead of chronic lower back pain. After two adjustments, I was able to turn my head again!
